Isla Gran Viento was founded by 5 friends with experience in sustainability, engineering, and finance. After observing the lack of consolidated resources for renewable energy services in the Philippines, the founders sought to elevate sustainability practices in the Philippines. Isla Gran Viento, or IGV, was born.

IGV’s north star

Isla Gran Viento is derived from the Spanish words for “island” (Isla) and “great wind” (Gran Viento). IGV embodies the land’s strength and the wind’s flexibility when solving Earth’s most pressing challenges.
